Host Biography
Marc Wurgaft, LCADC, LCSW, Executive Director, The Counseling Center at West Caldwell
A New Jersey native, Marc Wurgaft is a graduate of The Wurzweiler School of Social Work. He began his career in social services as a psychotherapist with the Brooklyn Center for Psychotherapy, in Brooklyn, New York.

Mr. Wurgaft returned to New Jersey to develop a Department of Addiction Services for Youth Consultation Services (YCS) of Newark, which evolved into The Dr. Helen May Strauss Clinics of YCS. Mr. Wurgaft served as Director of the Dr. Helen May Strauss Clinics until 2013, when he joined The Counseling Center, to bring a modern Intensive Outpatient (IOP) program to New Jersey.

Instructor Biography:
Dr. Rob White, DNP, APN, BC, Director of Medical Affairs, Praesum Healthcare
Robert White is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in therapy and psycho-pharmacological treatment across the life span. A graduate of The College of New Jersey and Rutgers University, he also received his Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Rutgers University. Dr. White has over 20 years of practice working in the field of mental health and substance abuse.

The Counseling Center at West Caldwell is an outpatient addiction treatment and behavioral health center, staffed with certified and experienced clinical professionals. Eligibility is determined with a confidential clinical assessment, which is performed in person at The Counseling Center.

Adults and adolescents seeking treatment for addiction, alcoholism, mental/behavioral health conditions, or any of the commonly co-occurring disorders associated with addiction and substance abuse, may participate in our award-winning Outpatient Therapy, Intensive Outpatient Therapy, Individual, or Group counseling, based on clinical assessment.
